  Possui graduação em Engenharia de Telecomunicações pelo Fundação Instituto Nacional de Telecomunicações (1985) , especialização em MBA Executivo pela Universidade de São Paulo (1994) , mestrado em Engenharia Eletrica pela Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (2000) , doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (2008) , curso-tecnico-profissionalizante pela Escola Técnica de Eletrônica de Campinas (1977) , ensino-fundamental-primeiro-grau pelo Instituto de Educação Presidente Kennedy (1970) e ensino-medio-segundo-grau pelo Instituto de Educação Presidente Kennedy (1974) . Atualmente é Professor Assistente II da Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Elétrica.   • Kevin Leong is a professor of software engineering at San Jose State University (SJSU). He has developed software engineering courses and curricula, taught graduate courses, and supervised graduate students on Master’s projects.
    Courses developed and taught:
    • Web UI Design and Construction: This course starts with a five-plane framework for designing user-centered user interfaces (UI) for AJAX-style Web applications. It cuts through the complexity by focusing on Model-View-Controller frameworks, AJAX design patterns, and reusing UI components. It covers JavaScript, XHTML and CSS.
    • Software Construction with Component (with Java EE): This course is about designing and constructing high-performance software, including the design of REST and RMI APIs, message-driven asynchronous processes, persistent object-relational mapping and caching, and relational databases using Enterprise Java Bean.
    In 2006, Kevin founded Mo'Blast (http://www.moblast.com) to develop location-based service mobile applications. He is the CEO and Chief Architect, steering the technical and business direction of this innovative startup. Kevin bootstrapped and assembled a team of designers and engineers around the globe to create a stunning collection of mobile apps that has received rave reviews.
    Prior to this and two other startups, Kevin was a Management Consultant with Mitchell Madison Group and AT Kearney. Before that he spent eight years at IBM where he held lead technical and project management positions. Kevin was the creator of IBM’s C++ class library and co-author of a C++ graphical user interface programming book – “OS/2 C++ Class Library Power GUI Programming.”

    He holds an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley and a BBA degree in Information Systems from the University of Texas.

  • Richard Stallman lanzó el desarrollo del sistema operativo GNU (ver www.gnu.org) en 1984. GNU es software libre: todo el mundo es libre de copiarlo y distribuirlo, y también de realizar cambios de mayor o menor magnitud. El sistema GNU/Linux, básicamente es el sistema operativo GNU con Linux agregado y actualmente es utilizado en decenas de millones de computadores. Stallman ha recibido el premio "Grace Hopper" de la ACM (ACM Grace Hopper Award), una beca de la Fundación MacArthur, el premio "Pionero" de la Fundación Frontera Electrónica, y el Premio Takeda por Mejora Social/Económica, como así también varios doctorados honorarios.

Ingeniero Electricista de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia (92) Especialista en sistemas eléctricos de potencia y gestión de la energía de la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (2000), Magister en Ingeniería Eléctrica de la Universidad Politécnica de los Andes  (95). En este momento es candidato a Doctor de la Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña.
Durante su vida profesional ha compartido tanto las actividades profesionales en diferentes ámbitos de la ingeniería, como la docencia y la investigación.
Ha sido profesional especializado en la Unidad de Planificación del ministerio de Minas y energía de Colombia (1995-1998). Fue Gerente de la Distribuidora de energía ELECTROCOSTA- Distrito Córdoba (Colombia) (1998-2000) empresa con 400000 clientes. Igualmente se desempeño como asesor en el área de Minas y energía del Departamento Nacional de estadística en Colombia (1999), consultor sénior en empresas de consultoría como COSENIT (Colombia) y Consultoría Colombiana (Colombia)(2002-2004).
En el área de la docencia ha sido profesor de universidades en Colombia: Universidad Autónoma (1998-2004), Universidad de la Salle (1999) y Universidad de los Andes (1992-1995), participando en diversos proyectos de investigación en ellas.
Ha sido investigador invitado (2000-2001-2002) en la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, desarrollando proyectos en el área de la Planificación energética.  Desde el año 2005 viene trabajando en la Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña, siendo Profesor en asignaturas de 2do ciclo, máster y cursos postgraduales, Jefe de Proyectos en el área de energía del CITCEA-UPC (Centro de Investigación en energía de la Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña), y coordinador de la Cátedra Endesa Red de Innovación Energética.
Sus áreas de interés son la Planificación, Política energética Sistemas de Potencia, Distribución de energía eléctrica, Eficiencia energética, Energías renovables, Economía de la energía. Regulación y Mercados Energéticos.

Su desarrollo profesional le ha permitido participar como conferencista en diversos congresos internacionales así como participar en proyectos con Iberoamérica y Europa
